Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are ‘whiny bitches’

not a fan Howard Stern didn’t hold back in discussing his reaction to it Prince Harry and Megan MarkleNetflix documentaries.

“It was painful,” Stern, 68, said on Sirius XM The Howard Stern Show on Monday December 12 while we discuss observing Harry & Megan via Mediaite. “I wouldn’t stick with it, but my wife would [Beth Ostrosky Stern] want to watch it. You know we have shows that we watch. But they come off like such whiny bitches. I gotta tell you man, I just don’t get it.”

The first three episodes of Harry & Megan debuted on Netflix on Thursday, December 8th. The documentaries narrated how the two met and their engagement alongside never-before-seen photos and videos. The six-part series also included interviews with people close to her, but that wasn’t enough to impress the shock jock.

“I get Prince Harry mad at the monarchy for his mother,” Stern said, referring to the late Princess Diana, who died in 1997. So you have my empathy there. But Jesus Christ, when these two start whining about “wah wah wah and they don’t like me” — and [Meghan] wanna be loved in this country but man oh man.”

Stern said the duo just rubbed it the wrong way, especially when they saw the comment they filmed on their phones before their Netflix deal was even announced. “It’s just really weird to see two people keep yelling, ‘We wanted our privacy, we wanted the press to leave us alone.’ And then what is their special that they release on Netflix? I’ll show you her and her children and her life. It’s like The Kardashians — except boring,” the radio personality said, adding that he “found it unsettling.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down from their roles as senior royals in 2020. They dropped their first bombshell tell-all special in March 2021, and the Netflix series seemingly covers much of what the CBS interview revealed. Stern asked if this was her new career path.

“Where are you going with that? Is this your career? Speaking of how humbled you were to be a part of, I don’t know, living in a castle — it’s hard to relate to,” the New York native noted. “It looks pretty great to me. … I guess they’re not on the royal payroll, so they have to make money.”

Stern even predicted an eventual divorce for the duo, who wed in May 2018. “I think he’s not going to like her at some point. I’ll tell you. She’s a little…” he trailed off.

While the moderator has already formed an opinion, three more episodes have to convince him otherwise. The last three installments of Harry & Megan will debut on Netflix on Thursday, December 15.

For their part, Meghan and Harry addressed the privacy concerns via a speaker earlier this month. “Her statement announcing her decision to step down makes no mention of privacy and reaffirms her desire to continue in her roles and public duties,” said the Worldwide Press Secretary for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Ashley Hansenagreed in a statement The New York Times on Thursday, the day the show began streaming. “Each other suggestion addresses a key point of this series. They choose to share their story on their terms.”
