Pressure washer tried to confront customer who allegedly didn’t pay

A viral TikTok of a pressure washer attempting to confront a “deadbeat” client had a surprise ending – when the contractor found out the client who allegedly hadn’t paid him had suddenly moved.

TikTok user @allaboutpressurewashing posted the viral clip on April 9, which has garnered over half a million views. In the video, titled “Confronting a Dead Client,” the user shares footage of him on the doorstep of what he believed to be one of his clients who have allegedly avoided paying him for his services for the past seven months .

However, when he rings the doorbell to speak to the customer, a completely different person answers. The person explains that they are the new owner of the home and that the client in question moved out in October 2021, a month after they reportedly received the pressure washing service from the contractor.

“He stopped responding to my emails, texts and calls,” the TikToker claims. “Not only did he cheat me out of payment, but I helped him sell his house. Well played, scumbag. Well played.”

From there it seemed like a dead end to finding the missing customer, but in a second TikTok post from the user on April 22, there was a surprising update.

In the follow-up video, the contractor reveals that he managed to track down the client and discovered that not only did the client let him out of the bag, he also allegedly “made a mistake” with his broker, a roofer. and a carpet company. As a result, according to TikToker, the roofer arrested the customer for a felony offense while the carpet company is also pursuing legal action.

“It wasn’t about the money for me. It was all about the principle,” says the contractor. “He can have my money so he can post bail to get out of jail.”

@allaboutpressurewashing did not immediately respond to the Daily Dot’s email request for comment.
