Monet Tejada works closely with Davis MacLean to solve Zeke’s murder and keep the FBI away from her. At Power Book II: Spirit Season 3 Episode 1 Premiere, Tariq visits and tries to comfort a distraught Monet after Zeke is murdered. She’s filled with regret and wishes she’d left him in North Carolina instead of drawing him closer to her in New York City… impersonating his aunt.

Tariq offers to help Monet in any way he can. Since the two were together when Zeke was killed, she feels like he’s the only person she can trust… Meanwhile, Cane has lost his supply of Mecca, so he’s looking for a new connection.

Tariq has started a new semester at Stansfield and is trying to erase the tainted past he attracted to the university. Brayden now works at Weston Holdings under his uncle Lucas’ wing. Tariq is pushed back into the drug business when he is approached by Tariq with a unique opportunity… Selling drugs on Wall Street!
