Pop star pedophile Gary Glitter is sent back to jail for violating bail conditions

Gary Glitter is set to be sent back to prison after violating his bail rules just a month after his release.
The disgraced pop star, 78, was caught trying to access the dark web, according to The Sun.
The parole service confirmed tonight that he was “recalled to prison after violating his license terms,” a spokesman said.
He was caught in a photo published by the newspaper asking how to avoid detection when surfing the web on a smartphone.
Glitter – real name Paul Gadd – was freed from low-security HMP Verne in Portland last month after serving half of his 16-year sentence for sexually abusing three schoolgirls.
Authorities said he was living under “some of the strictest license conditions,” including a GPS tag and close monitoring by police and probation officers.
Last month, an angry crowd sparked a disturbance at the entrance to Glitter’s transition home after he was released from prison.
Strict bail conditions he was asked to follow included wearing a tag and reporting to police if he gets into a relationship with anyone with a child under the age of 18.
A spokesman for the probation service said: “Protecting the public is our top priority. That’s why we have strict authorization requirements in place and if offenders break these rules, we don’t hesitate to take them back into custody.”
A source told The Sun: “The mood music is going in one direction.
“The deputy prime minister has now, as you might expect, shown a personal interest.
“The images and comments themselves are enough to raise serious concerns.”
