Police retrieve items from NH home related to missing girl Harmony Montgomery – Boston News, Weather, Sports

MANCHESTER, NH (WHDH) – Police on Tuesday searched a home in Manchester, New Hampshire, in connection with the ongoing investigation to locate missing girl Harmony Montgomery, who once dragged a refrigerator out of the building.

Officers from the Manchester Police Department and other authorities were on Union Street at the former home of Harmony’s father Adam Montgomery and her stepmother Kayla Montgomery on Tuesday. Harmony Montgomery was last seen in 2019 when she was 5 years old and under her father’s care. She was only reported missing in 2021.

Sources told 7NEWS that newly developed information led them to the apartment.

A fridge marked with biohazard stickers was wheeled out of the Manchester flat and loaded onto a van along with several other pieces of evidence.

Late that afternoon, a DPW crew deployed a high-tech camera down the sewer line below Union Street in front of the apartment.

Harmony’s birth mother, Crystal Sorey, told 7NEWS over the phone that she always had bad feelings about this apartment.

“I don’t know what they’re really looking for, but I hope it gets us closer to the answers,” she said.

A small memorial to Harmony was erected in front of the NH house on Tuesday.

“I’m heartbroken and I’m heartbroken for Crystal and for Harmony’s entire family, I’m heartbroken for this community,” said neighbor Stephanie Kelly.

Adam Montgomery is currently in prison for allegedly hitting his daughter.

In January, police excavated a backyard in Manchester where Harmony last lived but could not find any sign of the missing child.

The AG’s office said no further information about the reason for the search will be released, citing the ongoing investigation.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call or text 603-203-6060.
