Police: Man shot dead in Riverview neighborhood on Sunday afternoon

ST. LOUIS — At least four people have been shot dead in St. Louis City since Friday. That number is expected to increase before the end of the weekend.

A man was shot and killed in Block 10000 of Riverview Drive shortly before 6 p.m., according to a spokesman for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.

Officers arrived at the scene and found a male victim with multiple gunshots. He was unconscious and not breathing. He was taken to a local hospital.

Police have not confirmed whether the victim survived.
