MANCHESTER, NH (WHDH) – Officials from multiple agencies are at an address in Manchester, NH Tuesday in connection with the ongoing investigation to locate missing girl Harmony Montgomery, New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella announced.
Officers from the Manchester Police Department and other authorities were on Union Street at the former home of Harmony’s father Adam Montgomery and her stepmother Kayla Montgomery on Tuesday. Harmony Montgomery was last seen in 2019 when she was 5 years old and under her father’s care. She was only reported missing in 2021.
The FBI forensics team took a shrink-wrapped refrigerator down the street and loaded it onto a van along with several other pieces of evidence.
Late that afternoon, a DPW crew deployed a high-tech camera down the sewer line below Union Street in front of the apartment.
Harmony’s biological mother, Crystal Sorey, told 7NEWS over the phone that she always had bad feelings about this apartment.
“I had a feeling for Union Street from the start,” she said.
Adam Montgomery is currently in prison for allegedly hitting his daughter.
In January, police excavated a backyard in Manchester where Harmony last lived but could not find any sign of the missing child.
The AG’s office said no further information about the reason for the search will be released, citing the ongoing investigation.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call or text 603-203-6060.
