Police investigate fatal shooting of Lynn – Boston News, Weather, Sports

LYNN, MASS. (WHDH) – Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting in Lynn that occurred Friday night, Lynn Police Chief Christopher Reddy said in a statement.

Police responded briefly to the Western Ave area around 11:00 p.m. where they found a 32-year-old Lynn man who had died from an apparent gunshot wound.

Officials said they did not consider the incident to be a random act and saw no danger to the public.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
