Police: Driver faces OUI charges after colliding with motorcyclists in Northfield, seriously injuring 2 people – Boston News, Weather, Sports

NORTH FIELD, MASS. (WHDH) – Police are investigating after nine people were injured, two seriously, when a car with a trailer crashed into several motorcyclists in Northfield on Sunday, officials said.

Officials responding to reports of an accident on Route 10 found that a car with a trailer had crashed into a group of Connecticut motorcyclists, officials said.

Eight people have been hospitalized and two are in critical condition at UMass Worcester, officials said. The driver was arrested at the scene and charged with driving under the influence of aggravated assault, OUI drugs, driving under the influence, driving without a license and two counts of child endangerment.
