FORT LAUDERDALE, FL. (WSVN) – An armed robbery involving two suspects took place in Fort Lauderdale.
The Fort Lauderdale Police Department responded to an armed robbery at a store on the 1700 block of East Sunrise Boulevard around 10:48 p.m. Saturday.
A strong police presence was observed in the area.
According to investigators, two armed suspects broke into the store and forced store employees at gunpoint into the store’s freezer.
The perpetrators stole cash and then fled the scene.
No injuries were reported. The suspects were not arrested.
The armed robbery is investigated.
