CHELSEA, MASS. (WHDH) – Police are searching for a person of interest after gunshots rang out in Chelsea on Tuesday, officials said.
Officials responding to reports of shots fired in the McDonald’s parking lot on Revere Beach Parkway at 2 p.m. were told a white car pulled up in front of a black Volkswagen in the parking lot and the occupants of both cars were shooting at each other, shared the police with. Two men in the Volkswagen fled on foot and the white car drove away, according to police.
Police said 15 shots were fired but no one was injured. An employee at a neighboring Dunkin’ said a bullet went through a window and almost hit a customer who was eating at a stall, but the customer was unharmed.
