Police are launching an investigation after the baby died in an “unexplained” tragedy

The death of a baby found at home has been described as “unexplained,” detectives say.
Humberside Police today released a statement regarding the incident in Immingham, North East Lincolnshire.
Officials had been called to Corfe Walk earlier this month after a child died at a property on the street.
No cause of death was confirmed and the incident was described as “unexplained”.
Officials are now trying to clarify the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
In a statement, Humberside Police said: “Officers were present at Corfe Walk in Immingham after Friday 3 May.
“An investigation is underway as we attempt to determine the circumstances of the death, which is currently being treated as unexplained.”
