Police: 3 teenagers charged after chase in stolen vehicle led to crash in Stoneham – Boston News, Weather, Sports

STONEHAM, MASS. (WHDH) – An 18-year-old and two youths are being prosecuted after leading police in a chase in a stolen car in Stoneham on Friday afternoon, officials said.

Officers responding to a lookout for a white Audi sedan stolen from Winchester spotted the vehicle near the intersection of Main and South roads and attempted to stop it, causing the driver to flee and eventually crashing into one House on Franklin Street, according to Stoneham Police Chief James McIntyre.

A 16-year-old from Woburn is charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, failing to stop for police, recklessly operating a motor vehicle and driving a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

An 18-year-old and a 16-year-old, both from Woburn, are charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle.

All three received subpoenas to face trial at a later date.
