Person hit by Caltrain in Mountain View

MOUNTAIN VIEW — A Caltrain struck a person in Mountain View Monday night, officials said.

The collision, involving train #132, was reported at 8:55 p.m. between the San Antonio Caltrain station and Rengstorff Avenue, Caltrain spokesman Dan Lieberman said.

Lieberman said emergency personnel were on site and the northbound route has reopened at reduced speed through the area.

No injuries were reported among the 60 passengers on the train.
