Pedestrian killed in the 70’s

Police believe a pedestrian who was fatally hit by a car while out walking on Sydney’s North Shore on Sunday morning is a 75-year-old woman.
The woman was hit by a Mitsubishi station wagon around 7 a.m. on the corner of Boundary Street and Wandella Avenue in Roseville.

Rescue workers went to the scene of the accident and found the woman with life-threatening injuries. She died at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the Mitsubishi, a 54-year-old man, was unharmed and was taken to hospital for a mandatory check-up.
Police said Sunday they were still trying to find out the woman’s identity. However, on Sunday evening it was said that an investigation had been carried out and that she was believed to be a 75-year-old woman.
After the accident, a crime scene was determined and Boundary Street between Ferncourt Avenue and Archer Street was closed for about five hours.
