Pedestrian hit and killed in two-car collision on Saturday night

ST. LOUIS — A pedestrian was struck and killed in a two-car collision on Saturday night.

The accident happened around 7:50 p.m. near exit 170 on St. Charles Rock Road. Larry Peeples, 41, was killed after the driver of a 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo hit the rear of the second driver’s 2016 Ford Fusion – causing the Monte Carlo to go off the side of the road and hit Peeples.

EMS responded to the accident and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Both drivers were taken to area hospitals and are being treated for their injuries.
