Paul Giamatti hosts conspiracy podcast: “Chinwag”

Paul Giamatti (pictured above with his natural skin tone) is ready to conspire with you. Accordingly Deadline Hollywoodthe guy who’s always trying to bring down the billionaires billion will co-host the Hoaxy Podcast chin wag with the philosopher Stephen Asma.

“I love nothing more than hanging out with my mate Steve and talking about very weird things,” Giamatti said. “I’m super excited for the audience to join us as we head off-road into wild, crazy territory and, like any great Chinwag, have a few laughs along the way.”

chin wag there will be special guests chatting about these strange things and answering questions like “Are we living in a simulation?”, “What is the most perfect sentence in literature?”, “Is Bigfoot interdimensional?” and probably “What’s in this one?” Dumpster?”. ???” If you know, you know.

Asma is Professor of Philosophy at Columbia College Chicago and Senior Fellow of the Research Group in Mind, Science and Culture. Giamatti is a legend. With their powers combined, it sounds like a seriously fun time as they dig into thorny issues that orbit the world of science, superstition, and the occult. If they have Jonathan Frakes on, the universe will fold in on itself.

If you’re worried that we’re living in a simulation, don’t sweat too much. Even if none of this is real, it feels real to you, so you really shouldn’t change anything you do. Plus, chin wag is part of the simulation and sounds pretty cool. It will be appearing in podcast libraries everywhere starting April 5th.
