COHASSET, MASS. (WHDH) – Brian Walshe’s booking photo, taken after his arrest on a misleading police investigation, is now available as investigators continue to investigate the mysterious disappearance of his 39-year-old wife, who has not been seen since the New Year.
The booking photo was released as friends of Brian Walshe’s wife Ana work to keep his three young children together during the investigation.
Also on Friday, a number of search warrants related to his home were seized by a judge.
Quincy County Court officials confirmed to 7NEWS Friday that investigators returned the warrants to the clerk Friday. What exactly was found in the searches of the Walshes’ home remains unclear, as a judge immediately confiscated the warrants and blocked access to the media.
7NEWS sources say officials are still awaiting lab results, including DNA results on several items of interest in the case, as of Friday night after the warrants were returned.
Among the items are a bloody knife and blood found in the basement of the Walshe home. Prosecutors revealed the knife and blood during the indictment of Ana Walshe’s husband Brian on Monday January 9th.
Brian Walshe remains behind bars after being held on $500,000 bail for misleading a police investigation into his wife’s disappearance.
The latest update comes a day after 7NEWS learned of a 2014 Washington, DC police incident report alleging that Walshe threatened to kill Ana and her friends. The case was closed after Ana refused to cooperate with investigators.
