One person died after being stabbed on Main Street in Salt Lake City, suspect still at large

One person died Thursday afternoon after being stabbed on Main Street in Salt Lake City.
According to police at 3.43pm at the Palmer Court housing complex on Main Street, they received reports of a stabbing. Police arrived at the scene and found a man in critical condition and provided medical assistance while paramedics were on the way.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was later identified by police as 34-year-old Charles Alires.
At this point, police believe the suspect fled the scene and is still at large. She is currently working to identify and locate the suspect. No description of the suspect is available.
While the cause of the stabbing is still under investigation, they believe the stabbing was not an accidental incident, information on the identity of the victim is currently unavailable.
