Officials warn Biden’s visit to Boston could cause traffic delays – Boston News, Weather, Sports

BOSTON (WHDH) – The Boston Police Department and Massachusetts State Police are warning people of possible traffic delays due to President Joe Biden’s day-long visit to Boston.
Boston Police Department warned that “due to a special event” on Monday “vehicle and foot traffic” will be impacted in the areas of Logan Airport and the JFK Library where Biden will be delivering speeches. Biden is expected to arrive at Logan Airport at 11:20 a.m. for a speech on his bipartisan infrastructure bill, and then head to the JFK library in Dorchester for a speech on cancer.
State police also advised residents and visitors to “plan ahead for potential traffic disruptions,” adding: “[T]bus delays can also occur here.”
This is Biden’s second visit to the Bay State in recent months. He visited Somerset in July to give a speech on clean energy investments. His wife Jill Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris recently visited Massachusetts.
