Officials: 4 dead, 2 injured in Pennsylvania home explosion – Boston News, Weather, Sports

POTTSTOWN, Pa. (AP) — At least four people have been killed and others may be missing after a home explosion in a northwest Pennsylvania suburb, authorities said.

Pottstown Borough Manager Justin Keller confirmed in a news conference that the blast took place just after 8 p.m. Thursday in Pottstown, about 40 miles (64 kilometers) northwest of Philadelphia, WPVI-TV reported.

Two other people were hospitalized, Keller said. Your terms are unknown.

It is not immediately known what caused the explosion. Police have yet to say who was killed or injured in the blast. No further details were released.
