NRL Market Watch 2023: Dominic Young in conversation with Canterbury Bulldogs

Bulldogs boss Phil Gould, fresh from luring away and spending money on a Broncos talent, has already guided another star talent from a rival club through the Bulldogs’ facilities.
Newcastle England winger Dominic Young is in talks with Canterbury Bulldogs while Phil Gould continues his multi-million dollar buying spree.
News Corp can reveal the 21-year-old winger toured the Bulldogs’ Belmore headquarters with Gould and coach Cameron Ciraldo on Friday afternoon.
Young, who ranks among the game’s best half-dozen wingers, is out of contract with the Knights at the end of this season.
He has also held talks with the South Sydney Rabbitohs, who have put their assistant coach and compatriot Sam Burgess on the case.
Ciraldo is happy with his talent at the Bulldogs’ full-backs but is always keen to add strength to the team. Gould has a great opinion of the West Yorkshire youngster.
Young has scored 14 tries in 20 games for Newcastle this year.
He also scored nine tries in five games at the World Cup.
News Corp understands Young is keen to move to Sydney but the Knights are desperate to sign him on a long-term deal.
They have two more England players next year – Will Pryce and Kai Pearce-Paul, who will add plenty of clout to a club that struggled last year – and are likely to improve their chances of keeping Young.
