Sell ​​Cell said: “The average resale value has remained fairly constant over the last 6 months.

“Since Apple announced it was discontinuing the iPod on May 10th, its resale value has recovered slightly by about 3%.”

It added: “The 7th generation 256GB iPod Touch has the best resale value. Users can still get $100 for this iPod in good condition.”

If you don’t have the 7th generation iPod Touch, you might still be able to get a fair price for your music player.

How much is my iPod worth?

According to Sell Cell, a 7th-gen 256GB iPod Touch can fetch $100, but a 6th-gen 128GB iPod Touch should fetch $60.

The less iPod storage space, the lower the resale price, even if your iPod is shiny and new.

The top price for the 5th generation iPod Touch is reportedly only $35.

The 7th generation iPod nano could set you back $44.

A 64GB iPod Touch 4th generation is $34 on the list.

A 6th Gen iPod Nano 16GB could set you back $40.

Prices seem to go down from there until you get to the iPod Classic range.

The 7th Gen iPod Classic 160GB is priced at $61.

The 6th generation version costs $60.

Of course, resale prices can vary and depending on where and when you sell, you may get higher or lower offers.

It’s unclear whether iPods will appreciate in value once Apple stops selling them.
