Nottinghamshire: Kitten rescued after getting stuck in drain | British News

Firefighters in Nottinghamshire rescued a tiny eight-week-old kitten after it was stuck in a drain pipe for several days.
Teams from Edwinstowe have been called to free the tiny cat after it was spotted at the Dukeries Complex in Boughton on Tuesday night.
The team used small electric scissors to carefully retrieve the kitten.
The Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said the kitten is now being looked after by vets.
They called the rescue “complicated” and believed the kitten was trapped in the drain pipe for several days.
It is now being looked after by veterinarians and is said to have recovered well.
Watch manager Sean McCallum said: “We think the kitten was trapped in the drain for a few days, so at just eight weeks old he’s a happy little chap.”
“Inspector Kate Burris of the RSPCA was also present at the incident and provided much needed care before taking him to veterinary care.”
“We hear he’s doing very well!”
