Nothing Launcher now available for smartphones running Android 11 and higher versions

Nothing Launcher has been made available for smartphones booting Android 11 or higher. The company plans to gradually roll out this update to all devices over the coming days. This launcher is currently in beta and is designed to stimulate user interest in Nothing OS which is currently in development. When this launcher was first launched, it was only compatible with Samsung Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22 series along with Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 6 series. This new update promises to make Nothing Launcher compatible with more devices running Android 11 and above.

The Nothing Launcher update is live and available to download from Google Play if compatible with your device. With this update, a setup page is displayed when the launcher is opened for the first time after a clean install. Improvements have been made to help you change wallpapers easily. It also now includes a Dropbox link to download wallpapers and ringtones. In addition, this update also brings some bug fixes.

Nothing plans to create an alternative ecosystem around this minimalist operating system that rivals Apple and Samsung.

Along the same lines, Nothing is preparing to launch the Nothing Phone 1 with a focus on minimalism. According to recent rumors, this smartphone could feature a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 778G SoC along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The Nothing Phone 1 could have a 50MP triple camera on the back and a 32MP selfie shooter on the front. The 4,500mAh battery is expected to add wireless charging support.
