North Yorkshire: Boy, 11, and man in hospital after suspected stabbing

An 11-year-old boy and a 40-year-old man have been taken to hospital after a suspected stabbing in a quiet North Yorkshire village.
Police were called to the scene at 8.20am today at a house in Beckwithshaw, near Harrogate.
Both victims were discovered with “severe injuries believed to have been sustained by a bladed object.”
A cordon was in place throughout the morning in front of the property at Church Row, Otley Road, near the Municipal House.
Local residents have been warned that the road will remain closed for several hours.
The incident had nothing to do with the nearby school, North Yorkshire Police said.
Yorkshire Ambulance confirmed they attended the incident but gave no further details.
