“There is currently a significant number of members of the public in search of the child and while initially helpful this may now result in the child remaining hidden if still on the way.”

The boy was seen fully clothed at 10pm last night, believed to be wearing pajamas.

Officers who monitored CCTV footage of him walking down the street said he did not appear “concerned or upset”.

Police dogs and drones also support the search.
