“Nobody in the league wants Kemba Walker!”: NBA Insider reveals Knicks star’s unsettling commercial market situation after being scapegoated by Tom Thibodeau

NBA Insider reveals some extremely bad news in the commercial market for Knicks star Kemba Walker among NBA franchises

So… Kemba Walker really shouldn’t be the problem, right?

Certainly, the man had a bad expression. And yes, his defense is worse than the best. But the fact of the matter is, blaming him for all of the Knicks’ problems is clearly a misnomer. And we mean that beyond the moral sense of a team sport.

In the last 10 games where the former Celtics star was kicked off the rotation, the Knicks won only 3. Their defense is also among the worst, tied to the likes of the Raptors, Timberwolves and Pacers, as for 19order defensive ratings in the league.

Honestly, that’s where the Knicks need it most right now, something Walker can totally deliver if given the time and trust. However, it seems that the situation in New York has worsened in the past. And now, the team is looking for a market to trade that man off, which Kemba is said to be on board.

There is only one problem here. And it’s not exactly a small one.

There are no trading markets for Kemba Walker during this trading period

It may sound odd, but for someone with Kemba Walker’s qualities, it is unfortunately very true.

But the reason for this isn’t quite as simple as his recent form. Here’s what Action Network’s Matt Moore had to say on the matter.

“There is no union-wide benefit to joining Kemba Walker, according to multiple sources… Walker was benched to try to start the Knicks, a move that failed, but the league consensus was that Walker’s knee was too much of a risk even during his game. That with New York and Boston is more than situational.”

Honestly, it makes sense for other franchises to be a little scared about Walker’s trauma history. For the Knicks, however, this could be a blessing in disguise.

As we said, the Knicks need to score more than anything else, something Kemba Walker can deliver if given the trust and time.

Maybe it’s time for Tom Thibodeau to give him exactly that.
