Some conservatives are stir up fears about the faith that the federal government has decided to target opponents of the President Joe Biden for investigations and prosecutions.
But the claims are completely made up.
A screenshot one alleged news article word got around social media has claimed that the US Department of Justice (DOJ) has opened an investigation into the origins of the “Fuck Joe Biden” to sing.
The singing that also has one sanitized version formulated as “Let’s go Brandon‘ became popular in 2021 and was heard shouted by conservatives at sporting events, concerts and other public events.
The alleged news article is doing the rounds on the internet asserts bravely that the DOJ has chose to haunt people who used the chant.
“Merrick Garland Announces DOJ Will Investigate Individuals Singing F. Biden,” reads the headline.
The claim outrage among conservatives who argued that such a move clearly violated their right to freedom of expression.
“We live in a communist country,” continued one user Facebook wrote.
Despite screenshots it does not indicate what medium it was published in and only list the author as “DOGFACEPONIA”, More and more users expressed alarm.
“Protected language under fire,” wrote another user.
A message regarding the claim is almost received 2,900 shares At Twitterwhere users similarly pushed back on the Biden administration.
Unbelievable, very few users self seemed to ask the outrageous claims being made.
It turned out that the article was originally published on a blog with the same name as the author, DOGFACEPONIA.
A slogan on the site reads, “It’s Not Fake News, It’s Fairy Tale News.”
A quick look at the About Us page of the site expressly points out that the content is not to be taken seriously.
“DogFacePonia.com is a SATIRE site. We frequently refer to well-known stories and characters from popular culture, fairy tales, politics and other fiction,” the site reads. “This is not to be taken seriously. If you believe what you read here, I have a unicorn horn that I can sell for $1 million.”
Apparently many of the Conservatives are sharing the article online didn’t get the message. Nevertheless, countless Biden opponents seem convinced that the DOJ may be knocking soon.
