Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice could be gearing up for a collaboration

Ice Spice is rap music’s newest darling. The Bronx native caused a stir with the release of her breakout single “Munch (Feelin’ U)” and continues to dominate all streaming platforms thanks to her debut EP How…?. For some, the musician’s rapid success came as a shock. However, for Ice Spice, she manifested this years ago.
After earning her first billboard Hot 100 chart positions – thanks to the singles “Gangsta Boo” with Lil Tjay at No. 82 and “Boy’s A Liar Pt. 2” with PinkPantheress currently at #4 – Ice Spice’s power of manifestation is hard at work. Another thing she manifested was the attention of rap legend Nicki Minaj.
In 2020, Ice Spice tweeted, “Omg Nicki just followed me agh,” before clarifying it hadn’t happened yet, writing, “Practice.”

However, it didn’t take long for Nicki Minaj to actually follow her. Shocked by the moment, Ice Spice returned to the original post yesterday (March 12), citing tweets to write “omg” to confirm that Minaj did indeed follow her on Instagram.
A follow from Nicki Minaj is actually quite rare. In fact, Minaj is known for only using social media to connect with her extreme Barb fans. To date, Minaj only follows a handful of other rappers including JT and Yung Miami from the City Girls, Bia, Katie Got Bands and a few others. All of these are former collaborators, leading fans to believe the couple would be jumping into the studio soon.
Minaj further fueled the rumors by commenting, “Btchs slow so I’ll give them a pass. nope Gr! Nothing goes by anymore, Princess… Let’s go,” in Ice Spice’s latest Instagram posts.
Ice Spice has publicly shared her love for Minaj several times, most recently on the Rolling Loud stage. “I’m on the same stage as Lil Wayne and my idol Nicki Minaj less than 24 hours ago. My life is crazy,” Spice said.
