Niall Horan celebrated St. Patty’s Day at the White House

In the spirit of yesterday’s St. Patrick’s Day (March 17), Irish musician and former One Direction member Niall Horan stopped by the White House for a special celebration.

Horan performed four songs including his new single “Heaven” as well as his other tracks “This Town”, “Flicker” and a cover of “Spancil Hill”.

“I don’t think I’ve ever been that scared,” Horan said on stage at the event, according to Deadline.

“You certainly didn’t seem nervous to me,” Biden replied.

He also shared some social media posts about his time at the special Irish tribute.

I just wanted to wish everyone from me a very happy St. Patrick’s Day at the White House,” Horan said in the clip.

“And me too! I hang out here every now and then. I’m glad he’s here!” Biden added, joining as a surprise guest.

Just the day before, press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre had announced Horan was coming – but admitted she wasn’t familiar with his boy band roots.

“Niall is a multi-platinum singer/songwriter who has toured the world including with One Direction,” she said. “I’ll keep my comments about One Direction to myself, I don’t know who they are. I’m sorry. Many of you, I am sure.”

Later this summer Horan will release his new album, The showwhich will contain the already mentioned “Heaven” as well as other new songs.
