The National Hockey League on Saturday said it would postpone all Boston Bruins and Nashville Predators games through at least December 26 due to the spread of Covid-19.
The league closed the Calgary Flames, Colorado Avalanche and Florida Panthers at least for that day because of a growing number of players testing positive for the virus.
Due to a number of Toronto Maple Leafs and Vancouver Canucks players participating in Covid-19 protocol over the past two days, the league said it has postponed Saturday’s Toronto-Vancouver game, as well as the Arizona Coyotes-Canucks and Maple games. Leafs-Seattle Kraken on Sunday.
The league said it was in the process of reviewing and revising the regular schedule of the season.
The schedule disruption further affected the NHL’s plans to send the world’s top players to the Beijing Olympics from February 4 to 20.
