NFL Draft 2022 – Mel Kiper, Todd McShay, Jordan Reid and Matt Miller Draft dueling 10-man super teams with the best prospects

Four NFL draft analysts, 10 rounds, 40 total picks: Mel Kiper Jr., Todd McShay, Jordan Reid and Matt Miller competed to draft their own super teams of the best 2022 candidates. The full draft — and the accompanying debates — happens to be in the latest issue of First Draft.

The rules? Kiper, McShay, Reid and Miller fought their way through 10 rounds of selections to fill the starting lineup, with each roster having specific required positions: a quarterback, a running back, a wide receiver or tight end, an offensive tackle, an interior offensive lineman, three front 7 defenders, a cornerback and a safety. They were allowed to design positions in any order, and they designed their units based on the scheme they wanted to perform on each side of the ball. Versatility was a must. The exercise gives us a good idea of position value, how analysts stack their personal boards, and which prospects should prove most impactful at the next level.
