New York: Woman ‘steals car and hits two young girls and four others’

A woman is said to have stolen a car, pulled it onto a sidewalk and hit six people, including two three-year-old girls.
Deanna Cimaglia, 34, is accused of stealing a Honda Accord in Yonkers just after 5 p.m. Wednesday. The stolen car hit the curb near the RG Ortiz Funeral Home in Upper Manhattan, hitting the six victims, police said.
Cimaglia attempted to flee the scene but was captured and taken into custody.
The two young girls suffered facial bruises and bloody noses and were taken to Cohen Children’s Medical Center.
A woman suffered a broken leg and was transported to Mount Sinai Morningside.
Two other women and a man had neck and back pain and were taken to a hospital.
All victims were in stable condition.
Cimaglia was suspected of drinking before her accident but was not charged with drunk driving, the New York Post reported.
She was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and aggravated tortious operation due to her suspended license. She also received an administrative offense for driving without a license.
