A woman narrowly escaped death on a train track when she passed out on a train platform.

The heartbreaking moment was captured on the bodycam of one of the police officers who saved her life.

The horrifying incident happened on Monday during rush hour on the New York City subway network.

According to the city’s police department, she suffered an unspecified “medical incident” while walking through a station.

Officers rushed toward her when they noticed her turning to the edge of the platform, but didn’t make it in time.

She suffered a bad fall from a 4-foot fall onto the concrete floor and steel rails underneath.

Just before a train sped through the station, an officer jumped down and managed to pull her up.

A colleague on the platform helped pull her up and they managed to get the passenger to safety before she suffered any further damage.
