ALBUQUERQUE, NM (AP) — New Mexico’s largest electricity supplier is appealing a recent decision by state regulators to reject a proposal to transfer their stake in a coal-fired power plant to a coal-fired power plant. Navajo Energy Company.

The Public Regulations Committee voted unanimously against the proposal earlier this month, saying that New Mexico’s Public Service Company did not specify how to replace lost power.
