New Mexico reports 12 new deaths, 2,561 additional COVID-19 cases in three-day period

  • A woman in her 40s from Bernalillo County. The individual was hospitalized.
  • A man in his 90s from Bernalillo County. Individuals with basic conditions.
  • A man in his thirties from Doña Ana County. Individuals with basic conditions.
  • A man in his 60s from Doña Ana County. Individuals with basic conditions.
  • A man in his 50s from Grant County. Individuals with basic conditions.
  • A man about 60 years old from Quay District. The individual was hospitalized.
  • A man in his thirties from Roosevelt County. The individual has been hospitalized and has underlying conditions.
  • A man in his 60s from San Juan County. Individuals with basic conditions.
  • A man in his 70s from San Juan County. The individual has been hospitalized and has underlying conditions.
  • A woman in her 50s from Santa Fe County. Individuals with basic conditions.
  • A woman in her 60s from Torrance County. The individual has been hospitalized and has underlying conditions.
  • A woman in her 90s from Valencia County. The individual has been hospitalized and has underlying conditions.

The death toll of New Mexico residents related to COVID-19 is now 5,484.

In addition to the deaths, the state reported 2,561 more COVID-19 cases over a three-day period. New Mexico has reported a total of 332,238 cases.

The state reports that 610 individuals are currently hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19.
