New frozen pizzas inspired by St. Louis restaurants

ST. LOUIS – Mama Lucia’s Pizza and 4 Hands Brewing Co. are widely known for their frozen pizzas inspired by St. Louis food and restaurants. However, the pandemic caused a halt to sales.
Both restaurants recently announced that three new pizzas, made in collaboration with even more local eateries, have been added to their menus:
- Cheeseburger-Inspired Pizza from Hi-Pointe Drive-In – features bacon, brewery crust, cheeseburger sauce, cheddar and mozzarella, hamburger, tomato and onion
- Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza from India’s Rasoi – features a naan-like batter and tikka masala sauce, chicken, mozzarella, onions and peppers
- Michael’s Bar & Grill Gyros Pizza – with gyros meat, mozzarella, red onions, tomatoes and tzatziki sauce
Scott Ashby, President of Mama Lucia, shared the intentions behind the collaboration.
“[When] This thing started out to be something like craft beer [rotating] in restaurants over time.”
The freshly baked cakes can be found in the Diebergs and Schnucks markets. 4 Hands Brewing Co. and Mama Lucia’s Pizza were giving away some free slices Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m
