New details about a 3-year-old boy who died after being left in a hot car

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – New details have been released about the boy, who died after being left in a hot car in Miami Gardens.

Three-year-old Sholom Tauber was found unresponsive in a hot car Tuesday at the Lubavitch Educational Center on Northwest Seventh Avenue near the Golden Glades intersection.

We learn that he had seven siblings. His parents are both teachers at the school.

Paramedics responded and performed CPR on the victim, but unfortunately the boy later died in hospital.

Tauber’s cause of death was determined to be hyperthermia and classified as an accident.

According to police, he was left in the car by his father. No charges were brought.

The family’s rabbi has set up an online donation page to help them during this difficult time.
