14 bodies were reportedly found after a plane crash in the mountains of Nepal.
The first picture of the wreckage was released this morning by the country’s army after the plane went missing on Sunday.
Parts of the aircraft are seen scattered across the site in Sanosware, Mustang, after a mass search was temporarily halted overnight due to bad weather and lack of light.
The Nepal Army and Police have recovered the bodies of 14 people and are still at the scene searching the rubble.
Tek Raj Sitaula, a spokesman for Tribhuvan International Airport in Nepal’s capital, Kathmandu, said: “The search for others continues.”
There were 19 passengers and three crew members on board, including 13 Nepalese nationals, four Indians and two Germans.
The Tara Air plane was on a 20-minute scheduled flight from the resort town of Pokhara, 125 miles west of Kathmandu, to the mountain town of Jomsom.
She lost contact with the airport tower five minutes before landing on the route popular with foreign trekkers as well as Indian and Nepalese pilgrims.
It had rained in the area for a few days, but flights operated normally.
The plane was found at about 14,500 feet while investigators were still searching a ravine between two mountains.
Home to some of the world’s highest mountains, including Everest, Nepal has a long history of aviation accidents.
