At NCIS Season 20 Episode 18the team arrived at the scene after a stabbing victim, Logan Donahue, had been hospitalized. They suspected that the woman, Navy Lieutenant Rachel Donahue (portrayed by Amanda Clayton), stabbed him to death because the neighbors saw her leaving in a hurry after he called 9-1-1. They also found the weapon, kitchen shears. Curiously, Rachel returned to the house in the middle of the investigation…
When agents drag her in for questioning, she claims to have done it no memory of trying to stab her husband! She told them that she was suffering from an illness that caused memory loss. Agents suspected their motive was driven by large debts. She was unaware of the credit card debt. When pressured, she would scold her husband’s quirks and become so agitated that she fainted.
Agent Torres doubted her answers and felt he was about to make a plea for insanity. Agents interviewed Rachel’s doctor and he was amazed at her physiological results since they were everywhere. Torres suspected it was her feign insanity…
