on NCIS Season 20 Episode 12 “Big Rig”NCIS Special Agent Dale Sawyer goes missing while working undercover as Tommy Dugan.
Dale visits Torres for help on the undercover case. He’s nervous and has blood on his clothes but refuses to come in when Torres offers him. Instead, Dale takes off and is now missing. Torres feels guilty because the FBI asked him to work the case first, but he passed it on to focus on his sobriety.
Torres and the team find the motel where Dale is staying when they get a call a dead Body in Dale’s vehicle that was lit. Torres is stressed and takes it out on the team. Dale was undercover to investigate a series of truck robberies, and his mother, Doris, tells Torres that the last time she heard from Dale, he was visiting a truck stop.
Anne Hankamer runs a trucking company and tells the NCIS team she believes they are robberies an inside job by one of their own drivers to rip them off. McGee investigates her employees and finds Wade Cutler. Wade has a record of robberies and has called in sick every time one of Anne’s trucks happened. Torres wants to go undercover and find Wade to get information about Dale.
Torres goes undercover as Danny and meets Mama Jo, the owner of a local rest stop. He starts asking questions about Wade when a local named Emmett starts threatening and harassing him. Torres throws the first punch, grabs a beer bottle to smash it over Emmett’s head, and Dale steps forward with one Gun aimed at bull to end the fight.
The entire team and Dale help McGee practice and prepare for his upcoming game show appearance! Why would Dale point a gun at Torres or is he deep undercover and has to pretend to shoot Torres?
