The NCIS: Hawaii Season 2 Episode 16 “Family Ties”

previously on NCIS: Hawaii Season 2 Episode 15When a Navy deserter accidentally comes out of hiding, his family becomes a target, driving the NCIS team and Charlie 1 (Linc Hand) to find out who’s after them.

Warning… spoilers below!

At NCIS: Hawaii Season 2 Episode 16, let’s try to find out what hoops, spoons, mannequins and golf trophies have in common. What amazes the team even more is that all the thefts appear random, they happened outside the base but targeted those who were on the base and the stolen things don’t seem to be of much value…

A breakthrough in the case came from Jane’s son, Alex, when she overheard him talking to someone about his top picks for college. The conversation shifted to the viral video prank about Jessie and Kai. Apparently someone posted the video of the foam exploding truck that the couple were investigating. He also told her about a prank in which naval officers responded to having tires stolen from them.

Boom Boom and Bam Bam deconstructed the device that ignited the elephant toothpaste. Similar to a remotely detonated cell phone bomb, the bandit used it to detonate foam. This led them to a Navy pilot, Lt. Commander William Morrison, who allegedly bought a large quantity of the chemicals used in the IDE.

The perpetrator is an unlikely suspect and his motive is bizarre. Can you guess who it is and what its goal is?
