Native American TikToker Lance Tsosie (@modern_warrior__) said he’s used to receiving death threats on TikTok, but lately, they’ve been “going on a rampage.”
Tsosie has 3.1 million followers on the app and often goes viral with its resolution of white supremacy online. His TikTok bio says “Hey colorist!” and he’s famous for pointing out all kinds of social evils and racist behavior in his videos.
TikToker said in a video that he “knows the consequences” of challenging white supremacy, but that his white rivals on TikTok are “a little too bold”.
In his video, Tsosie shared a TikTok posted by his competitors that showed a white man hunting Tsosie. In their TikTok, they appear to capture him, skinning him, and hanging his hair on a set of deer antlers mounted on the wall.
“Hey colonist,” Tsosie says in the video of the white man. Then, speaking to his viewers, he added, “Nothing, America. I just found my next serial shooter.”
The white man’s TikTok appears to have been deleted. man account, @ goldenshine208, which also appears to have been removed or made private.
Tsosie said his address has “resurfaced on the wrong side of TikTok,” and due to death threats, he now has to move to a new home.
“Omg this lance is too far. You don’t have to move because of people like this. Smdh, I’m so sorry,” one viewer commented on Tsosie’s TikTok.
Other viewers voiced their support for TikToker and were shocked that he had to endure such threats.
“It was not a joke. It’s a threat,” said one viewer. Another commented: “I’m pretty sure his video is a crime…”
Some viewers said they felt nauseous while watching the video.
“That video made me nauseous how can someone have such a disease in their head. I’m so sorry you’re going through this,” said one user.
Another user commented: “My stomach hurts, this is scary.”
User @modern_warrior__ did not respond to Daily Dot’s request for comment via TikTok comment.
