Last week at Darlington, Joey Logano led 107 laps to claim his first win of the season, and he’s looking to build a streak this weekend when NASCAR rolls into Kansas at 3:00 p.m. ET on Sunday for the 2022 AdventHealth 400. Logano has been strong in his last three trips at the speedway, with a win at the Hollywood Casino 400 and a ninth place finish at the same race last year. Logano is fourth in NASCAR points standings with 374, but should he lead your NASCAR DFS lineup on Sunday?
Denny Hamlin had back-to-back NASCAR wins in Kansas in October 2019 and July 2020. He also finished fifth in his last appearance there at the Hollywood Casino 400 in 2021, but should you be targeting him in the NASCAR DFS driver pool? Before you make your NASCAR DFS picks for the 2022 AdventHealth 400, be sure to check out the optimal NASCAR at Kansas DFS strategy and lineup advice from SportsLine’s Mike McClure.
McClure has nearly $2 million in earnings in his career as a daily fantasy pro, and his NASCAR DFS driver pool, predictions and advice can help you win big.
Last week, McClure was high on Kevin Harvick and Chase Elliott in his Goodyear 400 picks on sites like DraftKings and FanDuel, and the pair finished fourth and fifth, respectively. The week before, McClure correctly picked Elliott as the winner of the DuraMAX Drydene 400. His model, which simulates each race 10,000 times, resulted in seven overall winners last season. Top 2022 AdventHealth 400 NASCAR DFS Picks
For NASCAR in Kansas, McClure is back high on Harvick, who is listed at $8,700 on DraftKings and $9,000 on FanDuel. Fourth at Darlington was his second-best performance of the season. In his last four races in Kansas, Harvick has finished in the top five each time, including two second places.
In the 15 races at intermediate circuits since 2021, Harvick has finished in the top five seven times. Although he hasn’t won since 2020, his comfort and familiarity at circuits like this is evident. Harvick has completed almost 72 per cent of his total laps in the top 15 this season so while he’s still looking for a win he should be in contention on Sunday.
Another part of McClure’s optimal NASCAR DFS strategy involves the lineup of Martin Truex Jr. ($10,400 at DraftKings and $12,000 at FanDuel). Truex Jr. led last weekend’s Goodyear 400 for 28 laps but his race was ended by accident after lap 260 when he was fourth. Truex Jr. has also been a strong performer at recent events in Kansas, having finished in the top 10 in each of his last five performances.
Truex Jr. has the second highest quality of any driver this season with 864 passes. He is also fourth in the NASCAR Cup Series for total fastest laps with 163. In 41 races at moderate circuits over the past three seasons, Truex Jr. has the second-highest average finish of any driver with a 9.7.
How to set 2022 NASCAR in Kansas DFS lineups
McClure is also targeting an undervalued driver set to give back plenty of value. He’s in a prime position to make a run to the checkered flag and comes at a price that won’t break the bank. You can see who it is, and every other choice, right here.
