Murder investigated in East St. Louis

EAST ST. LOUIS, Illinois – The Illinois State Police are assisting in a homicide investigation in East St. Louis.

Authorities were responding to a deadly shooting around 2:30 p.m. Saturday at 18th Street and Missouri Street.

Police have not released any further details in the case. FOX 2 will be updated as more information becomes available.
