After investigating the crime scene Remy considered it a hit. So Gibson did some research and found a 1989 mob hit with a striking resemblance. Remy recalled that Jackie “The Fox” Bianchi was the prime suspect at the time. Suspected of multiple mob hits, Jackie The Fox once topped the FBI’s Most Wanted list. Jackie was presumed dead in a boat explosion.

Gibson found a guy claiming to be Jackie The Fox who has a podcast called My Greatest Hits. They didn’t think this podcaster was the one for them, so they tried to meet with the then head of the Organized Crime Task Force. The agent was Terry Daniels (portrayed by Glynn Turman), who is now retired.

Remy and Gaines visited Daniels and he confirmed that the voice (as he recalled) was in fact Jackie The Fox.

Remy faced an uphill battle but tried to get a warrant from Judge April Brooks to get the podcast’s server logs. He even tried to show her his baby blues, but she didn’t buy the weak thing…a retired agent who remembered the voice of a suspect from 30 years ago who was also presumed dead. She denied him for insufficient probable reason.

Ultimately, the investigation led to a copycat killer reenacting gruesome murders from the 1980s. Unfortunately, the Feds need to speak to the man who originally killed to get a glimpse into the mind of a serial killer. they learned Jackie The Fox (portrayed by Paul Ben-Victor) wasn’t dead and desperately wanted to talk to him to catch the new killer…
