BOSTON (WHDH) — Three youths who allegedly assaulted and attempted to rob two men at the MBTA’s Shawmut Station on May 23 have been arrested, the MBTA Transit Police said in a statement.
The three suspects were said to be part of a larger group demanding money from the two victims. Police say when the two men told the group they had no money, the group began beating them on the head and body.
The three youths were located at Harambee Park in Dorchester around 1.30pm on Friday and taken into custody, Transit Police said.
