So one mom thought and found a brilliant way to keep the powder contained but still useful.

Taking to her Instagram Reels to share the clever hack, Lauren explained in her video, “One of my favorite mommy hacks that we all know is you can use baby powder to remove sand if you’re after clean up the beach, but it gets really messy.

“Did you know you can actually put this baby powder in a sock?

“That will contain it and you just rub the sock all over and that will remove the sand.”

She was spotted using the powder-filled sock on her children, and the sand on her skin came off quickly and easily.

“Save this for your next trip to the beach!!” Lauren titled her role.

“Nobody wants piles of sand in their car after a day at the beach, and this hack works so well!”

“Well that’s clever isn’t it,” one person wrote in the comments.

While another suggested cornstarch as an alternative to talc.

“Yup, good tip,” wrote a third. “Not only does it help the sand slide off (towel works), it eliminates the stickiness.

“You can easily put clothes on with powder.”

Lauren isn’t the only mom who has shared a beach hack on social media.

Mum-of-four Shannon, whose TikTok profile can be found at @athomewithshannon, revealed she always takes a trusty item from home to the beach.

She wrote alongside the post: “Save this for your next trip to the beach! Awesome Beach Mom Hack! Welcome to MOM HACK TOK!”

Then she revealed in a video: “People loved my mommy hack to take a laundry basket to the beach. But I made it even better – a collapsible laundry basket.”

Shannon then demonstrated why it was such a good idea by filming herself putting her family’s belongings into the lightweight basket with tiny holes.

Then, once everyone is ready to go for the day, Shannon said it’s just a matter of picking up the laundry basket and shaking out the sand.
