Molina Healthcare Florida is sponsoring pop-up groceries this Christmas

Molina Healthcare Florida, in partnership with MolinaCares Accord and Reach St. Pete, is sponsoring pop-up grocery distribution locations in Pinellas County on Thursday.

Those in need can pick up free groceries at one of five locations in the county.

A pop-up at the Enoch Davis Center at 1111 18th Ave. South in St. Pete is open from 12:00pm to 12:45pm

Another location at the Campbell Park Rec Center at 601 14th St. South in St. Pete is open from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m

Later in the afternoon, those seeking help with shopping this holiday season can visit Pinellas Hope at 5726 126th Ave from 3:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Visit North in Clearwater

The SPC Douglas L. Jameson Jr. Midtown Center at 1300 22nd St. South in St. Pete is open for grocery pickup from 4:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. and the Northside Baptist Church at 6000 38th Ave. North in St Pete opens its doors from 5:30pm to 6:00pm

There are no eligibility requirements to qualify and no pre-registration is required.

Molina Healthcare has been active in the community this holiday season and has partnered with Farm Share for food distribution events. The company provided $100,000 to Farm Share as part of its Operation Hurricane Ian Relief to support Farm Share’s mission to eliminate food insecurity across the state.

Company volunteers also helped prepare 5,000 Thanksgiving meals, including turkey, green beans, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce and pie, among other things charitable donations and volunteer events.
